Elizabeth Weber, M.D., Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon
Elizabeth Weber, M.D., is a board-certified pediatric orthopedic surgeon who has a special interest in orthopedic trauma and limb reconstruction. Prior to coming to Gillette, she worked at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, Conn., where she was very involved in the gait lab pioneered by James Gage, M.D.
Weber received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, and completed her residency at Dartmouth Medical School in Lebanon, N.H. Subsequently, she completed a limb reconstruction and pediatric fellowship at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia as well as a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at Brown Medical School/Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, R.I. She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society and the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America.
Before beginning her medical career, Weber served as a U.S. Air Force pilot and flight instructor and flew more than 50 combat missions during the Persian Gulf conflict. She is a combat-decorated veteran, who received numerous awards and distinctions during her military service.
