About

Randal Richardson, M.D., is pediatric neurologist who is board-certified in adult and child neurology and in neuromuscular medicine. At Gillette, he specializes in caring for children and adults who have neuromuscular diseases such as muscular dystrophy, myotonia, myasthenia, spinal muscular atrophy or peripheral neuropathies (e.g., Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease). 

He received his medical degree from Brown University’s Alpert Medical School in Providence, R.I., where he additionally obtained a master’s in medical science in neurophysiology. His pediatrics training was at Creighton University and the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb. He trained in child neurology at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital, where he also completed a fellowship in neuromuscular disease and electrodiagnostic medicine. He has extensive publications, including professional journal articles, book chapters and abstracts, and he has also made a number of professional presentations.
