Stephen England, M.D., Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon
Stephen England, M.D., a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, treats children and adolescents who have various orthopedic conditions, including developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) and cerebral palsy. England received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Minnesota and a medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in New York. He has a master of public health degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
Prior to joining Gillette in 1993, England completed an orthopedic internship at the University of Hawaii, his orthopedic residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York and a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at The Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Atlanta. England participated in the White House Fellowship Program from 1998 – 1999 in Washington, D.C.
England is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Association, the J. Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society, the Minnesota Medical Association, the Minnesota Orthopaedic Society, the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, and the International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology.
