Stephen Sundberg, M.D., is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon and program medical director of the Center for Pediatric Orthopedics at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare. Prior to joining Gillette in 1986, Sundberg graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed an orthopedic residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He then completed a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at Adelaide Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, Australia. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedics.
Sundberg’s professional associations include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, the Minnesota Orthopaedic Society, the Twin Cities Orthopaedic Society, the Association for the Study and Application of the Methods of Ilizarov, the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine and the International Perthes Study Group.
