Please check in at the reception desk when you arrive. The receptionist will give you a travel folder that includes a checklist of appointments and any pre-scheduled tests. Additional tests may be scheduled after you arrive.

You will meet with our registration staff to review or update you medical insurance coverage. They can answer any questions you may have about financial help. Please review your medical coverage policy prior to registration, and bring all appropriate medical records or insurance documents with you.

Guest Facilities

While at Gillette, we hope to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hospital offers a number of amenities for you and your family, including a television to watch, magazines to read and vending machines in the clinic waiting area.

Parking

Parking is available in the hospital’s adjoining parking ramp, called the West ramp. The entrance to Gillette Children's can be found on Level D of the parking ramp. We offer a discounted parking rate of $3 to patients and their guests. To obtain the reduced rate, bring your parking ticket with you into the building and have it stamped at the Admitting desk. Tickets must be stamped by Gillette to receive reduced rates.

For those who park on a long-term basis, token notes are available from the Regions Parking Office for $3 per token and are sold in groups of ten.

Van Accessible Parking

We are working to expand van-accessible parking to the entire West parking ramp. For now, vans may find parking on Level D of the ramp.
