Resource Center
Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare was the first public hospital in the United States for children with disabilities. Since 1897, Gillette Children's has been making a difference in the lives of these children.
Over time, medical knowledge and expertise developed at Gillette have led to significant scientific advances in the care of children with disabilities. Many of these advances make it possible for patients to receive care as outpatients, eliminating the need for some types of surgery and inpatient care. Underlying our medical expertise is the care, dignity and respect that each child receives in our hospital and clinics.
This section of our site is designed to make available some of the wealth
of knowledge that has been accumulated through the work of Gillette.
