Our craniofacial and plastic surgeons diagnose and treat disorders such as cleft lip and palate, craniosynostosis, deformational plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome), torticollis and more. Doctors at Gillette were among the first to use motion analysis to assess children who have disabilities. In fact, when our James R. Gage Center for Gait and Motion Analysis opened in 1987, it was the only one of its kind in the Upper Midwest.

Today, we operate one of the busiest clinical motion analysis centers in the nation, performing hundreds of evaluations each year. With state-of-the-art technology, our specialists measure movement patterns in people who have cerebral palsy, spina bifida, brachial plexus injuries and other complex conditions.

Gillette offers the region’s top rehabilitation center for children and teens. In fact, we have the nation’s largest group of board-certified pediatric rehabilitation medicine physicians. And ours is the only pediatric rehabilitation facility in the Twin Cities to be accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Gillette’s Center for Pediatric Rehabilitation offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. Some patients come to us through our Level I Trauma Center for Children, which we operate in partnership with Regions Hospital. Others come to us from other facilities. All patients benefit from Gillette’s commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes.
