Keeping your child safe while they’re under our care is our top priority. To help make sure we’re doing everything possible to deliver safe care, we hold our caregivers to the highest standards as outlined in the Joint Commission’s National Patient Safety Goals.

Identifying patients correctly is an important way we make sure your child always gets the right medication and treatment. We use at least two ways to identify patients, for example using the patient’s name and birthday.

Having clean hands is the most important way health care workers can prevent patients from getting infections while in the hospital. Gillette follows hand hygiene guidelines outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for making sure everyone who comes into contact with our patients has clean hands.
