Ellen Snoxell, Ph.D., LP, Psychologist


Ellen Snoxell, Ph.D., LP, is a licensed psychologist who is certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology. She is experienced with treating depression and anxiety, helping patients adjust to disabilities, supporting pain management, providing instruction in sleep hygiene, promoting self-image and addressing interpersonal problems.

Snoxell received her undergraduate degree at Carleton College and completed a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Minnesota. After interning at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis, she worked there as a rehabilitation psychologist and director of the pain clinic. She also has worked as a rehabilitation psychologist at Regions Hospital and Courage Center. She has served on the executive board of the American Board of Professional Psychology since 2008. In addition, she has been an assistant clinical psychology professor at the University of Minnesota since 1987.

Ellen Snoxell, Ph.D., LP's services are primarily available to patients already receiving inpatient or outpatient interdisciplinary medical care at Gillette.
