2017 Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare Charity Golf TournamentMonday, August 7, 2017 | 12pm
North Oaks Golf Club
The premier golf tournament of the summer, now in its 21st year, benefits the James R. Gage Center for Gait and Motion Analysis at Gillette. Coordinated by a dedicated group of Gillette board members and volunteers, the tournament has raised nearly $2.5 million for the Center for Gait and Motion Analysis.
The James R. Gage Center for Gait and Motion Analysis has become a destination of hope for children who have cerebral palsy or other conditions affecting movement. The center uses motion capture technology like the kind used in Hollywood movies and the gaming industry to provide a dynamic, three-dimensional view of a child’s movements. This is the type of information our specialists from multiple disciplines need to create a treatment plan ideally suited to the needs of each child. With your support, Gillette is conducting the first study of its kind to measure the long-term effects of gait and motion analysis and treatment. What we learn through this research will become the cornerstone of tomorrow’s therapies.
