Michael Shreve, M.D., monitors and treats pulmonary issues at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare for patients who have a variety of disabilities, including brain and spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy and neuromuscular conditions. He works with patients to maximize lung function and activity level for patients with degenerative conditions and slow pulmonary deterioration.

Shreve received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota, where he also completed his residency. He then completed a fellowship in the University of Minnesota’s Pediatric Pulmonology Division. Shreve is the Director of Pulmonology and Respiratory Therapy at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare. He is also Medical Director of Respiratory Therapy at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota – St. Paul Campus, and the Chairman of Peer Review for Children’s Hospitals. His professional associations include the American Thoracic Society and the North American Society for Pediatric Exercise Medicine.

Shreve and his wife have five boys. Their interests include sports, traveling, snowboarding, boating, and triathlons.

He sees patients at the St. Paul Campus of Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare.
