In Memory of Mary Bussiere, RN, BSN

Posted On: 08/07/2012

The Gillette family experienced a sad loss last week with the passing of Mary Bussiere, RN, BSN.

Mary began her career here in 2010 and supported Dr. Taniguchi, Dr. Partington, Dr. Karachunski and Dr. Kim. She quickly impacted staff and f

amilies with her amazing upbeat energy, spunky personality, zest and love for pediatric nursing and never ending smile. In truly unique Mary form and style, she eagerly embraced and mastered her resource nurse role in the St. Paul Outpatient Clinic. In the short two years Mary was a part of our team at Gillette she touched and inspired many with her dedication and devotion to pediatric nursing and love and knowledge of neurosciences. At the age of 27, she was viewed by colleagues young and old as a nursing leader and mentor.

Mary will be dearly missed. Her energy and spirit will not be forgotten and will continue to live among our team and Gillette family.

We are Mary’s parents.  We want to express our thanks and appreciation to the staff at Gillette Children’s Specialty Hospital.  You were all so supportive, caring, and helpful during Mary’s 2 weeks of fighting for life.  We will never forget all of you and your unselfish kindness.  We know why Mary always told us that she loved working at Gillette and loved the people with which she was associated.  We love all of you and thank you for all your help and for being Mary’s friend.  May God bless each and every one of you.
                          Love to all,
                                Larry and Karen
