What industry are you in? Finance and operations. As a former CFO and CPA, I worked in various for-profit and non-profit organizations. My last position was CFO at Greater Twin Cities United Way, retiring in July 2015.

What does your work focus on? As CFO, provided strategic direction and leadership for the financial operations for the nation’s third largest United Way with revenues in excess of $90 million. Set the long range strategic plan and directed the management of all finance operations. Directed the development and implementation of updated financial systems, policies and procedures resulting in improved financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and operational effectiveness. Other areas of responsibilities included Facilities, Support Services, and Contract Administration.

Why did you choose to serve at Gillette Children’s? I love Gillette’s mission. I am passionate about kids and families and helping them to have the opportunity to have the best life possible.
