Covid-19 and Job Shadowing at Gillette Children's Specialty Care
As part our efforts to respond to the risk of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, at this time Gillette Children’s Specialty Care is not permitting large groups, tours or certain volunteers in our hospitals and clinics. This means we are not currently accepting job shadowing applications. While we don’t know at this time when we will re-open job shadowing opportunities at Gillette, we invite you to check this page in the future for any information.
Job Shadowing Program at Gillette
The job shadowing program at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare allows people who are interested in health care careers to observe Gillette staff on the job.
To participate in the job shadowing program, you must:
- Be 16 years of age or older.
- Provide up-to-date immunization records, including proof of a flu vaccine (during flu season).
Due to high demand, observers may not observe the same discipline more than once or observe more than once per semester.
