Positions in the Gillette Orthotics, Prosthetics and Seating Department include orthotists, prosthetists and seating specialists. Gillette custom-fabricates all assistive technology on-site, making this a critical component of the services we provide for patients.
Orthotics, Prosthetics and Seating practitioners should have previous experience working with pediatric patients, creative technical problem-solving skills, and excellent hand and power tool skills. Because the Orthotics, Prosthetics and Seating department works closely with every member of a patient’s care team, they should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with physicians, pediatric and adult patients, families and colleagues.
