Gillette Children’s Inclusive Day of Play

Play is an essential way to connect across differences, to build mutual understanding, and most importantly – to have fun together. Play unites all of us, but because inclusive play spaces can be hard to find, too often some kids are left on the sidelines.

Gillette Children’s has created our Inclusive Day of Play as a rallying cry to unite kids of all abilities. We’re creating resources and sending an open invitation to everyone throughout Minnesota and around the world to join in a day of play on Saturday, July 27.

Together, we’ll build a global map where friends and neighbors around the world will unite for an inclusive day of play.

Gillette Children’s Inclusive Day of Play empowers families everywhere to unite in planning inclusive playdates in their own neighborhoods. We will provide digital toolkits, information, and inspiration – and you invite friends and neighbors to join you in playing together at your favorite accessible spaces.

The event takes place during Disability Pride Month to celebrate the progress made—and highlight the work still needed—to make our communities more inclusive.
