Understanding Parental Views on the Early Experiences of Ambulatory Children with Spastic Cerebral Palsy

Start date: April 2022

Why: A lot of things influence when, where, and why parents find health care for their children. These reasons are not well understood in cerebral palsy. A better understanding of these things will help researchers design better studies in the future and improve the quality of care for others.

Who: We want to talk to parents of children who are:

  • diagnosed with spastic cerebral palsy
  • 4-8 years old
  • able to walk with or without assistive devices

The parent or caregiver must be able to speak and understand English.

What: Complete an online interview about your early experiences with the health care system. Your child does not need to be present.

Time: Approximately 1 hour

Compensation: $25 gift card

Benefit: You and your child may not directly benefit from participating in this study. However, other patients may benefit from what we learn.

Participation is voluntary.
