When you make a planned gift to Gillette, you join the Jessie Haskins Legacy Society—a community of caring people who are committed to helping children with disabilities, rare disorders, and traumatic injuries to create their own stories

Jessie Haskins’ Legacy

In the late 1800s, Jessie Haskins, a young woman who had a serious curvature of the spine, and Arthur Gillette, MD, persuaded the Minnesota Legislature to fund a hospital dedicated to treating children who had disabilities. Their partnership and persistence led to what would later become Gillette Children’s.
