Deborah Bohn, M.D., Orthopedic Surgeon


Deborah Bohn, M.D., is a board-certified pediatric hand and upper extremity surgeon. She treats patients who have congenital hand differences, injuries, and problems caused by spasticity or other neurologic disorders. She received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, Minn., where she also completed a residency in orthopedic surgery and a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery.

Bohn is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society, and she presents regularly on various topics to audiences ranging from the general public to nurses, therapists, medical students, residents and fellows. She is the co-editor of a publication on surgical release of the pediatric trigger thumb, and she has taken a medical mission trip to Nicaragua to treat children who needed hand surgery. Bohn teaches residents from the University of Minnesota Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program and fellows in hand surgery from the Health Partners/University of Minnesota Hand Fellowship program.

She sees patients at Gillette's St. Paul Campus.
