Aaron Huser, DO

Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare is proud to welcome Aaron Huser, DO, to our medical staff.

Huser is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon specializing in the care of limb deformities and deficiencies. He attended medical school at Midwestern University and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Rowan University/Inspira Health Network. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Washington University in Saint Louis, and another in limb deformity and limb lengthening at the Paley Institute in West Palm Beach.

“Caring for children is a privilege,” Huser says. “My goal is to improve function of the child through careful examination, shared decision making with the family and other providers, thoughtful planning and providing technical excellence through surgery. I enjoy solving complex problems through innovative solutions.”

Huser is one of only a few specialists who graduate from a limb deformity fellowship in the nation each year.

“Improving a child’s limb function through reconstruction and allowing them to participate in all of the activities that childhood offers is one of the most gratifying aspects of my career,” Huser says. “Limb deformities and deficiencies are very visible problems and inclusion is so important in the lives children and young people; not only do I want to improve function, but I never want a child to feel left out because of something they have no control over."

“Gillette is a special place and I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to be part of the team,” Huser continues. “This hospital is an institution specifically focused on treating patients who have complex musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. We have the largest concentration of pediatric orthopedic surgeons in the Midwest, and due to our refined focus, the level of expertise is unparalleled.”

Huser is accepting patients. If you have a child or loved one who has a limb deformity, limb-length discrepancy or limb deficiency condition, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
