Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare is essential to those we serve and we’re ready to help while taking precautions to make sure you, your child and our staff are as safe as possible. Timely and safe medical care is crucial for patients with rare, complex and traumatic conditions.
As we continue to live with the risk of COVID-19, it can be a difficult decision to know when to seek medical treatment, but it is incredibly important to seek care when it's needed and to continue planned clinical interventions.

Gillette’s medical director, Micah Niermann, MD, says strong precautions are in place. “These include, adapting spaces for social distancing, adopting universal masking, and limiting and screening all visitors to ensure a safe care environment. “
Enhanced cleaning measures
Gillette has enhanced its cleaning measures. All public areas and clinic rooms are sanitized and all counters are continuously disinfected.
“At Gillette, our main goal is that every single person who sets foot in one of our facilities has a safe and positive experience,” says Gillette manager of Environment of Care, Brian Smidt. “Now more than ever, keeping our clinical spaces clean and sanitized is an essential part of that. We take this task personally at all time, but especially right now. We want Gillette to be a safe haven.”
We want you to know we’re your partner in making sure your child has continued access to our experts and the ability to receive crucial care. Together we CAN keep kids safe and help ensure they get the care they need.
