Gillette Children's and Teleton in Chile are entering an exciting new chapter in a partnership that spans nearly 20 years. Teleton, a nationally recognized nonprofit rehabilitation organization based in Santiago, provides comprehensive care for children and youth with neuromusculoskeletal disabilities. In 2025, our organizations signed a renewed memorandum of understanding to expand collaboration in research, education, clinical care, and care management—strengthening a relationship rooted in shared mission and expertise.

As part of this renewed effort, Teleton will send clinicians to the Gillette Gait Course this June, with the possibility of extended visitorships to observe clinical practice and deepen knowledge exchange. In parallel, Gillette is supporting Teleton in planning and delivering a multidisciplinary course in Santiago on care management for cerebral palsy. The course aims to update clinical and surgical knowledge, review advances in gait analysis and complementary therapies and promote interdisciplinary consensus to improve outcomes for individuals with cerebral palsy.

Gillette providers participating in the multidisciplinary course include Tom Novacheck, Emily Andrisevic, Andrea Bushaw, Meghan Kinate, Mike Schwartz and Jackie Norling. Their contributions will help strengthen international collaboration and elevate standards of care for children with cerebral palsy across both organizations.
