Gillette is excited to announce Cameron Moskowitz as one of this year's Children's Miracle Network (CMN) National Champions!

For more than 40 years, Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) has been a symbol of hope, elevating possibilities for every child in need of care. Every dollar raised through CMN supports the local children’s hospital, bringing brighter futures within reach for all kids.

Gillette is one of 170 CMN member hospitals to name a “Champion” in each of their communities, serving as the face for children treated at their local children's hospital.

Cameron - or Cam – is an outgoing, friendly 13-year-old with energy to spare. He and his twin sister, Kendall, were born prematurely 26 weeks. Three days later, Cam's parents were told that he would never walk, talk or eat on his own due to a brain bleed. This led them to seek care at Gillette, where Cam was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was 14 weeks old.

Cam has had 14 surgeries at Gillette to increase his mobility. Most recently, he underwent SEMLS – Single-event multilevel surgery – to adjust his femurs, lower his kneecaps, and place pins in his toes, which has improved his stamina and stability.

Cam’s care at Gillette has helped him write his own story of what’s possible. Today, he is walking, talking, running, and even making guest appearances on the local news. Tilapia, salmon, and sushi are among his favorite foods to eat. He enjoys fishing and playing soccer – and his adaptive floor hockey team earned a 4th place title in the Minnesota state tournament!

In addition to being named to the 2026 CMN Champion team, Cam has been part of Gillette’s Jessie’s Club Ambassadors, served as a Gillette Walk & Roll patient ambassador, and had a guest role at our 125th anniversary event celebration.
