When you or your child receives care at Gillette Children's, we want you to understand your rights, and that we’re committed to protecting your safety and privacy.

Gillette adheres to the Federal Patient’s Bill of Rights as well as the Minnesota Patients’ Bill of Right (PDF).

Notice of Privacy Practices

Your health information—about you or your child—is personal. Protecting the privacy of your health information is critical. Please know that Gillette complies with all applicable federal and state privacy and confidentiality laws.

The Notice of Privacy Practices describes how we maintain your privacy. It describes personal information about patients, how we use it and with whom we share it. This notice also explains your right to not have your information shared with parties outside Gillette.

We help ensure your privacy by releasing your personal information only to people you've agreed should receive it. If you would like to authorize disclosure of your personal information to someone, such as a family member or attorney, you may contact our Health Information Services department at 651-229-3886.
