Sager specializes in caring for patients with hip dysplasia, hip impingement, Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease, slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE), and lower extremity alignment concerns. She works collaboratively with patients, families and the orthopedic care team to develop individualized treatment plans that support mobility, function, and quality of life.

Sager earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies and Master of Public Health in Global Health from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota. She also holds a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in neuroscience from the University of Minnesota.

During her clinical training, Sager completed a pediatric orthopedic spinal surgery rotation at Gillette Children’s, gaining experience working alongside the hospital’s specialized orthopedic team. Her additional clinical training includes pediatrics, general surgery, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and other specialties.

Sager brings a strong commitment to patient-centered care, informed by her clinical training, public health education, and experience working with diverse patient populations.

“I believe the best care begins with listening and understanding what matters most to each patient and family,” Sager said. “I strive to build trust and create a supportive environment where patients and families feel heard, informed, and confident in their care.”

Sager emphasizes the importance of helping patients and families actively participate in their care while focusing on outcomes that matter most to them.

“I believe our role extends beyond treating a diagnosis and into helping each patient work toward the goals and aspects of their life that are most meaningful to them,” she said.

Sager sees patients at Gillette Children’s locations in St. Paul, Burnsville, and Maple Grove.
