You might have seen reports in the local media that the contract between Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota will expire later this summer if an agreement isn’t reached. Some Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare families have expressed concern about whether this involves Gillette and if it will affect their child’s ability to continue to receive our care.
Gillette and Blue Cross have a strong relationship with contracts in place that allows Gillette patients covered by the insurance carrier to receive care at all Gillette locations. The current stories in the media won’t affect your child’s care at Gillette.
