Outlined below are some quick social media post instructions for LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. We've even created special graphics for you to use when posting!

 


Facebook (on Desktop)

1. Access social media graphics for Facebook. Save your chosen social media graphic file to the desktop of your computer for easy access in a future step.

2. Login to your personal Facebook profile and you will be on the homepage. Click into the box that says “What’s on your mind.”

3. Type your message. Some people use hashtags to increase engagement. Examples include: #TeamGillette #JustHired #HealthcareJobs. You can also tag us by typing @Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare.

4. To add a graphic, click the green photo/video button towards the bottom.

5. Select a graphic you saved to your desktop in step 1 that you want to post. The graphic and the text you typed should appear in a popup box.

6. In the bottom right corner, click “Post” and it will publish to your Facebook News Feed.

Instagram (on Mobile)

1. Access social media graphics for Instagram. Save your chosen social media graphic to your photos or personal camera gallery on your Mobile device for easy access in a future step.

2. Login to your personal Instagram profile and you will be on the homepage. In the top right corner, click the + button.

3. Tap the graphic you want to post from your personal camera gallery on the bottom of the screen. Click “Next” in the top right corner once it appears.

4. You will see the following screen. Click “Next” again.

5. You will then be able to add the text that will appear under your photo. Tap into the box that is to the right of the graphic and type your message. Some people use hashtags to increase engagement. Examples include: #TeamGillette #JustHired #HealthcareJobs. You can also tag us by typing @gillettechildrens.

6. When you are ready to post, click “Share” in the top right corner. It will now be published on your Instagram Feed.

LinkedIn (on Desktop)

1. Access social media graphics for LinkedIn. Save your chosen social media graphic file for your LinkedIn post to the desktop of your computer for easy access in a future step.

2. Login to your personal LinkedIn profile and you will be on the homepage. At the top, you will see a box like this:

3. Click “Start a post” and the following box will pop up:

4. Type your message. Some people use hashtags to increase engagement. Examples include: #TeamGillette #JustHired #HealthcareJobs. You can also tag us by typing @Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare.

5. To add an image/graphic to your post, click the Photo icon in the bottom left corner.

6. Select the graphic you saved to your desktop in step 1 that you want to post and click “Done”. Your image and the text you typed should appear.

7. In the bottom right corner, click “Post” and it will publish to your LinkedIn newsfeed.

Twitter (on Desktop)

1. Access social media graphics for Twitter. Save your chosen social media graphic file to the desktop of your computer for easy access in a future step.

2. Login to your personal Twitter account or profile and you will be on the homepage. At the top, you will see a box like this:

3. Click into the area toward the top of your screen that says, “What’s happening?” to start typing your tweet. Some people use hashtags to increase engagement. You can include hashtags in the text of your tweet. Examples include: #TeamGillette #JustHired #HealthcareJobs. You can also tag us by typing @GilletteChildrn.

4. After you’ve typed your message, click on the Image (or “Media”) button in the lower left to add a graphic to your tweet.

5. Select a graphic you saved to your desktop in step 1 that you want to post. Before you tweet, your screen will look something like this:

6. Click on the “Tweet” button in the lower right to post your tweet to the Twitter Feed.
